IMG Worlds of Adventure is a mega themed, air-conditioned, indoor entertainment getaway spread over an expanse of 1.5 million sq. ft, which tantamount to 28 football fields. Two of the 4 epic zones are modelled on the topic and characters of global brands like Cartoon Network and Marvel, while the other 2, the IMG Boulevard and Lost Valley- Dinosaur Adventure are the creations of IMG’s think tank. Novo Cinemas, a cinephile's dream venue, offers state of the art 12 IMAX and VIP screens with 5000 m of LED strip lighting in bespoke colours. Types of Adventure Zones
IMG is segregated into 4 epic zones of adventure.
1. Cartoon Network:
Powerpuff girls, Ben 10, Gumball and Lazy Town will keep the kid's spirits high and offer an unforgettable experience. The experience of meeting faves and munching international delicacies at CN Feast or hanging out with Ben 10 and gorging burgers and smoothies at Mr. Smoothy, or taking their palate on a gourmet trip at Richard’s Around the World Café or bingeing Burrito’s at Finn & Jake’s will gratify the kids’ stomach and senses. IMG’s Cartoon Network stores offer gifts, toys, games, and other merchandise that leave your kids clamouring for more.
2. Marvel:
Avengers, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Thor will take explorers on an action-packed mission that leaves the kids and adults excited and charged. Enjoy the swanky interiors along with steak and seafood at Tony’s Skydeck or share a pan-Asian dish in the open kitchens of Chang’s Golden Dragon or feast on best of Italian cuisines such as wood-fired pizza and pasta over boisterous bonhomie. IMG Boulevard, conceptualized and created by IMG provides adventurists with an alluring mix of recreation and excitement. The mantra at the Haunted House is to decide before entering, as the journey is not easy and fun. This terrifying immersive entertainment tests the tenacity of the seekers’ psyche as they come across a series of changing backdrops, ghostly characters and a maze of corridors to find the exit.
A foodie’s paradise, the visitors get to taste unique flavours of popcorn at the Popcorn Factory, gratify sense with lip-smacking cuisines from 4 continents at Boulevard Gourmet, try a tantalizing taste of Indian street food hot Samosa and Chai at Samosa House, and indulge in culinary delights of Arabic food at Flavors of Arabia. Visitors can sign off the culinary tour with fine freshly prepared coffee at The Coffee House.
4. Lost Valley:
Visitors will be treated to spine-tingling rides, and pulse-pounding and audacious entertainments in the backdrop of resurgent prehistoric predators. Visitors get to taste Indian hospitality and famed tandooris and roasted meat at Spice Valley or best chicken wings at Carnivore Hut or gourmet burgers and hotdogs at 360 degrees. The explorer’s Supply and Raptor Outpost offer a dinosaur egg, an ideal memento or memorabilia for the visitors to take home.
THE ‘EPIC ZONES’ IN IMG WORLDS OF ADVENTURE, DUBAI
IMG Worlds has four themed areas, aptly dubbed as ‘Epic Zones’, and a 12-screen cinema. Every zone has attractions which are typical of that specific zone. Two of the five Epic Zones feature world-renowned brands, Marvel and Cartoon Network. However, the other two are the original concepts pioneered by the IMG Group. These two are known as The Lost Valley and IMG Boulevard. The remaining fifth is the Novo Cinema that features 12 epic cinema screens playing different movies. MARVEL
The Marvel Zone quite naturally is the most famous section of the park. The Marvel Epic Zone offers several rides and attractions like Thor Thunder Spin, and Avenger’s Flight of the Quinjet with the following height and weight restrictions.
Thor Thunder Spin
If you have an adult with you, 1.40 m height would suffice.
Your maximum height should be 1.95 m.
Avenger’s Flight of the Quinjet
If accompanied by an adult, you should be a minimum of 1.05 m tall to enjoy the ride.
If unaccompanied, you should be at least 1.30 m tall.
There are also multiple Marvel-themed restaurants such as Tony’s Skydeck, Chang’s Golden Dragon, and Mama Scano’s of Yancy Street.
Tony’s Skydeck is on the upper floor of the Avengers Tower while the others are on different floors respectively. Tony’s Skydeck offers seafood and steak at an average price of AED 100.
Chang’s Golden Dragon, however, offers Thai Tom Yum Soup, Mushroom Onion Chilly, Korean Vegetables, Balinese Pot Vegetables, and Chicken and Cheese Fried Rice.
In the same vein, Mama Scano’s of Yancy Street offers Italian cuisine at an average price of AED 75. It is open from 11 am to 10 pm from Saturday to Friday.
From Tony’s headgear and Hulk fists to Thor’s Hammer, Marvel fans can easily get their hands on Marvel’s merchandise. They can also check out the retail options in the area such as Marvel Universe, Empire News and Comics and Avenger’s Exchange.
CARTOON NETWORK
Most of us grew up watching Cartoon Network, so this adventure zone becomes all the more thrilling. We get to see our favourite characters coming to life, such as Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo and Dexter.
This area is home to various kid-friendly attractions in IMG Worlds of Adventure. However, that doesn’t mean that the park has nothing for older people. They can make the best of most rides and attractions of the park. These attractions include the Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10, LazyTown, and The Amazing World of Gumball. Cartoon Network also holds around 5 rides, The Powerpuff Girls – Mojo Jojo’s Robot Rampage, and Ben10 5D Hero Time that adds a thrill to the life of the visitors.

If you are riding alone, you should be a minimum of 1.35 m height.
Your minimum height should be 1.25 m, in case you have an adult to accompany you.

You should drink plenty of water before taking a ride on a hot day.
Children can go gaga at the retail stores offering toys, games, and merchandise in this Zone. Cartoon Network Store deals in goods which are more pertinent to today’s content. The Amazing World of Gumball – The Store and Lazy Store are worth visiting. Cartoon Network also boasts some nice dining options like the CN Feast, Mr Smoothy, Richard’s Around the World Café and Finn & Jake’s – Everything Burrito.
You can enjoy Mac n Cheese and Hotdog at CN Feast, burgers at Mr.Smoothy at around AED 100 and cold beverages (Cafe Creme) and chocolate drinks Chocolate Frappe at Richard’s Around the World Café. However, if you crave for something Mexican, you can enjoy Tortillas with minced beef at Finn & Jake’s – Everything Burrito. This restaurant opens only for school trips and birthdays.
LOST VALLEY – DINOSAUR ADVENTURES
Everyone knows Dinosaurs are cool and the Lost Valley kicks it up a notch. It brings to life the prehistoric world of dinosaurs, taking one back in time to a world that existed before us. There are quite a few rides which are as thrilling as the original concept behind this zone. These rides include The Velociraptor, Forbidden Territory, Predator, and the Adventure Fortress.
The Velociraptor
You should use the safety equipment provided.
You should be at least 1.30 m tall.
Forbidden Territory
Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes and clothing
while taking a ride.Your height should be 1.30 m to avail the ride.
If accompanied by an adult, your minimum height should be 1.05 m.
Predator
You should be in good health to ride safely.
Your height should be 1.25 m.
Adventure Fortress
If accompanied by an adult, your height should be 0.95 m.
If riding alone, you should be 1.25 m tall.
There are also three restaurants in this zone, Spice Valley, 360 Express and The Carnivore Hut. Brought to you by Wingstop, the Carnivore Hut features classic American Chicken Wings and has been operating for decades. However, the Spice Valley offers Indian cuisine, such as Shahi Paneer, Paneer Tikka Masala and Malai Kofta. 360 Express, however, features hotdogs and gourmet burgers.
IMG BOULEVARD
IMG Boulevard is the last remaining Epic Zone and perhaps the most tantalizing one. The Haunted Hotel here features a scary maze of corridors and changing backdrops as you encounter scary characters all around, thus challenging your nerves as you try finding the exit. However, this attraction is only accessible to guests aged 15 and above.
There are also a few diners in this section such as the Popcorn Factory, The Coffeehouse and Flavors of Arabia. The Popcorn Factory offers Bacon Cheddar and Butter Cheese Popcorn while The Coffeehouse offers pancakes, waffles and crêpes. As far as the Flavors of Arabia is concerned, it serves Grilled Vegetables and Falafel Shawarma.
IMG Boulevard also boasts multiple shopping outlets, like the Haunted Hotel Store, Adventure Photography, and the IMG Emporium offering the best souvenirs.
NOVO CINEMAS
Novo Cinemas, though not exactly an Epic Zone, is still a significant part of IMG. In collaboration with Novo Cinemas, IMG World has set up a 12-screen multiplex cinema, with a dedicated entrance for the general public. It has retail and dining options of its own. It also features both IMAX and VIP cinemas, giving movie-goers an entirely different experience.

1. Haunted Hotel Story:
Haunted Hotel Story is one of the most intriguing places that you can visit in the Dubai Theme Park that has a terrifying atmosphere. You will come across a number of spooky paintings which are more than enough to scare your friends.

5. The Coffeehouse:

Best places to visit near IMG Worlds of Adventure:
Be engulfed by the breathtaking sights and smells of about 250 million plants and 150 million blooming flowers that include 70 flower varieties. Miracle Garden spread over 72,000 sq. meters holds the Guinness World record for reproducing Emirates A380 Airbus with 500,000 fresh flowers and living plants. 3D floral designs, 59 ft tall topiary structure in the form of Disney iconic character Mickey Mouse, Lost Paradise with floral houses and bungalows, Butterfly passage, Floral Clock, and Gazebos are some more visual treats of this garden. This garden remains open from October – April.
Located next to Miracle Garden, the largest covered Butterfly Garden comprises 10 tailored dome structures that house 15,000 butterflies featuring 50 varieties in myriad colors and sizes. The Garden also contains a butterfly museum, a verdant aromatic garden, fountains, feathered creatures, and fish ponds.
One of the best water parks in the Middle East & Europe, its thrill rides & water slides like Leap of Faith, Shark Attack Slide, Surge Ride, and Stinger and Ziplining across the park squeals and shrieks from adventure-seekers. While Lazy Rivers to wave pools entice families, a children's play area to a private beach keeps up kids’ spirit.
A 22,500 sq. m indoor Ski Resort comprising a peak proportionate to 25 storey building, 5 inclines of varying ascent and difficulty, and a 3,000 sq. m. snow park play area challenges the beginner and advanced ski lovers. Massive snowballs, ice caves and encounters with penguins entertain non-players.
Located on Palm Islands, Dolphin Bay is one of the major non-natural Dolphin habitats in the world. The bay ensures a captivating experience to vacationers such as standing next to Dolphins in Shallow waters or swimming with them or scuba diving alongside these wonderful creatures in deep waters. Highly skilled trainers will help you interact with Dolphins-be carried over their fins through the waters or spout water through their nose or a peck on your cheek.
Located at the Al Riyadh street, It is an edutainment centre for children aged 2-15 yr with learning zones- planetarium, nature centres, galleries-science galleries, workshops-computer workshops, recreation facilities, playing area to explore, discover, learn and play and expand their knowledge. Adults and kids 16 are also permitted.
Kite Beach is the favourite destination for beachgoers, surfers, nature-lovers, kids, and visitors of all ages. It provides adrenaline-pumping activities such as kite surfing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding or games like volleyball or recreational and relaxation vibes – walking, jogging or enjoying the scenic beauty.
8.Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary:
Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as ‘Cape of the creek’ stretching over an area of 6.2 sq. km features salt flats, mudflats, coastal swamps with tropical shrubs and ponds that fauna use to build their nests. It serves as a reproduction ground and natural habitat for crustaceans, vertebrates, and Pisces. Flamingos, grey herons, great egrets, reef herons, cormorants, black-winged stilts, sandpipers, osprey, and myriad varieties feast visitors’ eyes.

Tips for Visiting IMG Worlds of Adventure
Pregnant women are not allowed on rides and attractions.
Restrictions to various rides and thrills are based on the height of the child rather than age.
Admission to the Haunted House is based on age and the kid should be at least 15 yr old.
Visitors should arrive early to beat the crowds and ensure sufficient time to enjoy all the rides and attractions.
It is beneficial to book tickets online to avail discounts and avoid serpentine queues.
Food and beverages from outside are not permitted into the park.
Wheelchairs and strollers are available for differently-abled and old people on hire inside the park. A valid ID is required to hire them.
Queues for various attractions will close at park closing time with the exception of the Haunted House.
Queues for the Haunted House will close 2 hours ahead of park closing time, in case the queue line approaches its maximum capacity.
Fast track tickets are required on weekends to cut short the long lines and save some time.
Ultimate Fast Track gives unlimited access to all rides, while an exclusive 3 fast track ticket gives the option to skip the line access to any 3 rides of your choice.
IMG offers storage lockers, which are located at the entrance, to visitors on rent.
Toilets for both genders along with a family bathroom, baby changing facilities and special cubicles for differently-abled are available at 5 positions in the IMG Park.
ATMs are available at the main entrance, bedside Lockers at IMG Boulevard, and in the lobby.
