Global Village is the first family destination for culture, entertainment and shopping in the region. It is a unique and integrated destination to enjoy the world's finest shopping, dining and entertainment experiences and offers guests a wide range of events, shows and activities that are the largest and most varied in the region. 

Global Village  offers many fun surprises to millions of guests in the open air. It highlights the best of culture from countries of the world in a lively festival and takes guests on a journey through a group of pavilions, each representing the richness and culture of a different country.

It offers unique international cuisine and awe-inspiring entertainment experiences across a wide range of entertaining games and interesting tours. The Global Village operating season starts in November each year and runs until April the following year.

Global Village is an absolutely wonderful place which is hosted in Dubai, where many different nations come and host their pavilion where they can showcase their culture, their cuisine, unique shopping experience  where each pavilion sells products famous in their nations or can be said to be special products which only their nation produces.

There’s something magical about Global Village as it celebrates its Silver Anniversary this year. Part theme park, part market, Global Village features 78 cultures in 26 pavilions with 3,500 displays from countries near and far where visitors can pick up traditional handicrafts and snacks from over 200 eateries. 

This festival park brings cultures together as visitors discover different parts of the world in just a few hours. Most of the pavilions in Global Village are designed according to the country's iconic or cultural structures.Inviting all to meander from London’s Big Ben to the leaning tower of Pisa in Italy, take selfies against the romantic backdrop of the Taj Mahal or travel back in time to ancient Egypt.

Shows & Events

1.Bollywood Flash Mob: 

It's one of the events which is conducted for mainly the Indian audience,where they can witness indian style dance and also hope to meet one of the finest bollywood dancers. 

2.Fireworks are back!: 

The return of the firework spectacle is a great reason to enjoy the perfect weather in Global Village’s outdoor space, home to thousands of shopping and dining options.Look to the skies this weekend as the musical fireworks made a dramatic return from Thursday 4th March and for the rest of Season 25. In a year like no other, the return of this firm favourite will be sure to brighten up your weekend plans!

3.Green Planet: 

Every Saturday and Monday* In the evening, join the rainforest tropical furry, eight-legged and slithery friends and explore the importance of protecting our planet and learn what you can do at home to help animals around the world!   

Thatcher the anteater teaches about habitat loss, while Kiwi the tarantula will highlight the importance of eliminating single-use plastics. 

Don’t forget about Allen the Burmese python who, along with our Green Planet Biologists presenters, will dive into the issues facing animals in their habitats around the world in a kid-friendly and nature-filled fun Animal Adventure!

1.Egypt: 

Discover one of the oldest civilisations on Earth at the Egypt Pavilion. Browse the 70+ stores and shop for interesting artefacts, handicrafts, carved copper, antiques, cotton clothes, traditional Egyptian dresses (Jalabiya) and costumes all reminiscent of Egypt’s culture and traditions.

2.Morocco: 

Discover a vibrant culture with centuries of traditions and world-renowned cuisine at the Moroccan Pavilion. Enjoy Authentic arts and crafts, browse beautiful clothing and accessories and check out the stunning mosaic art.

3.Americas: 

Explore the land of rain forests, Native Americans and, of course, Hollywood at the Americas Pavilion in Global Village. 4.Turkey:

5.Japan: 

A traditional welcome awaits you at the Japan pavilion where kimono-clad hostesses greet you. A treat for your taste buds At Global Village, we offer dining experiences from around the globe with over 200 restaurants & cafes and the largest street food selection in the region.

Global village has different restaurants,cafes,kiosks,street food and unique concept centers which provide a variety of dine options from Indian to Arabic, Turkish delights, ice cream to Lebanon food such as Hummus falafel and much more.

Global Village has locations called happy street and fiesta street where happy street provide options for food  like mac & cheese Cheetos, dynamite shrimps, loaded potatoes, and 60 cm slices of pizza, taste happiness with every bite from any of the various food options, where as fiesta street has options such as mouth watering street food concepts serving dishes like Baklava Frappuccino at CERVO Café, loaded Steak With Fries at STEAK, shrimp/chicken/mushroom Italian-style risottos from Perfetto, and more.

Ripley's Believe It Or Not!

Venture into a world of the weirdly wonderful at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!®, the first "Odditorium" in the region. The family-friendly attraction is home to a host of eccentric displays from visual illusions and pop culture memorabilia to unusual artefacts and features of tales so unbelievable they must be true!

The museum attraction has six uniquely themed galleries, a Marvellous Mirror Maze, and a boutique stocked with strange souvenirs. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! guarantees you an experience you won’t find anywhere else in the UAE.

Other Essential Information About Global Village Dubai

Timings: Each season of the Global village  runs through October to April with varying dates and remains open from 4 pm to 12 am from Saturday to Wednesday, and 4 pm to 1 am on Thursday and Friday.

Price: 15 Dirhams is the cost for a ticket to the event. For children below the age of 3 and seniors above the age of 65, the admission is free.

Tips for Visiting Global Village

• Parents are advised to keep their kids with them safely. Incidents of children wandering about at the venue are not unknown.

• It is advisable that you make a thorough research about the performances which are planned for the event and decide which one of them you wish to watch so that you can plan your trip accordingly.

• If possible, do visit once during Thursdays or Fridays when the firework shows happen.

• You will be able to find all types of food and beverages inside the village, so there is no need to carry it from outside and add burden on yourself.
